  1. Sonar operators weren't very good. They should have been defend by a contact that close.
  2. Their website now looks hopeful https://seabornefreight.com but this was all seen with Euroferries etc.
  3. http://www.ferrylines.com/en/ferries/search-results/operator/SEBO/?no_cache=1 If the link works there is already info on this booking site. If you click on the info button on the loose schedule you are taken to a sit in the USA. http://www.seaborne-intl.com/

  5. Have had to use the tunnel many times for work, they dont like the ferry as it "takes to long". However, did a day trip this week, no problem at passport control either end, got on earlier train both times, but sat in car in carriage for over an hour due to a train stoped in tunnel. Was it Henry perhaps?

I think the problem was we were travelling on Bank Holiday Monday, took an hour to even get to passport control and then everything had got out of sequence booked times / actual trains one could get onto. And all the electronic display boards seemed to be spouting rubbish.

  6. If said Merchant vessel was not moving then she would not have alarge Sonar signature. This may have been masked by other "noisy" vessels in the area. Just because AmbuSh was at periscope depth does not mean the scopes were raised. Unlike all the films, Submarines are not sending "pings" but listening. A ping tells everyone where you are.

  8. Ramsgate may get car transporter service
  9. Unless they are looking to go to Holland/Zeebrugge. Isnt Ramsgate to Vlissingen the short way to Holland?
  10. Even Thanet Council are doubting the latest plans by Euroferries
  11. Not to sure of the legal standing, but are MFL only stopped on Dover-Calais. Could they not move to Ramsgate, if the ships fit, and run to Calais or Vlissingen/Hook of Holland?
  12. Someone should tell Euroferries to change the picture on their "coming soon" page on the website. Its the same as in the news report above
  13. Re: My Ferry Link - Updates Why stop with Dover. There is a empty ferry port just up the road at Ramsgate. Calais,Dunkerque, Ostend,Zeebrugge or even Ouisterham in Holland.
  14. Re: EUROFERRIES: Ramsgate to Boulogne One bit looks true. Announcement on Millwall FC website http://www.millwallfc.co.uk/news/article/club-announce-new-five-season-partnership-1713799.aspx
  15. Re: Larkspur I see on AIS Larkspur is heading for Ramsgate and back again
