  1. We usually make 5 or 6 crossings a year, mostly Pompey to Caen. We have used the 14.00 ferry quite often as we have quite a long trip to North Derbyshire to home. I notice this is now due to dock at 20.30, that's a seven and half hour trip, hardly worth the earlier embarkation. Why has this been changed? Not for customers.
  2. I find the new site long winded. Perhaps I'm too familiar with the old site. On the price summary page it doesn't shoe the dates nor the vessels.
  3. Think yourself lucky, not everyone lives so close to any BF ferry crossing. Hull would be handier for me living in North Derbyshire! but we still do 6 crossings a year from Poole or Portsmouth, 3hrs 45 and 3hrs 30 respectively.
  4. I hope the new boat will have electricity charging points as it seems we will all need them in the future. Bought a diesel car 10 years ago, thought I was saving the earth, now I'm a pariah.
  5. Anyone know what the 6 "piles" are at Pompey near the inhabited fort?
  6. As long as they don't build a new ship like Cap.

  8. Having just been on the Cap I appreciate Bretagne. The Cap's restaurant has a walkway running through it, and no buffet breakfast or dinner. I prefer Bretagne. Mont and Normandie eating choices. Call me old fashioned.
