  1. I'm being optimistic! Naivety is bliss.. I assume you have amended the original booking and have a balance on that booking to use. The only way to add a return to that is in house, I don't think you can do it online but not sure. If the new return has been made within 24 hours, you can cancel it with a full refund. It's possible to create a voucher for the balance in booking 1 which can then be applied to booking 2. But whether that is allowed is another question.
  2. I've said it before, but once more. If you haven't travelled on Cap Finistere and want to, do it this year! No and no at the moment.
  3. I think the purpose of these rotations is to support Brittany as a region. Also I'm not sure there is much benefit in squeezing in sailings (and their running costs) when Portsmouth - Caen is still a viable option that's not too far out the way for haulers.
  4. I'll save you the effort and say there's nothing of great interest. The only things of 'interest' will be the coverage of freight only routes.
  5. That has always been the case but is being advised properly now. Depending on your own circumstances, no 9C doesn't necessarily mean no travel (unless that's what you prefer of course).
  6. Indeed You'll have to wear high heels or take the tunnel.
  7. No Portsmouth call. Arriving Ouistreham 0945. Departure to Rosslare at 1400 in ballast
  8. Oops. Couldn't have been much further off (short of Gdansk). I don't know if things changed or if my information was wrong. Probably option two..
  9. 😂 It is quite possible. Checked again and latest info I have is dry dock in Le Havre.
  10. As far as I'm aware it will be Le Havre. Edit: I now can't find where I read that so I'm not sure.
  11. Rarely seem to be in use. Although the past 12 months don't provide the most reliable 'statistics'.
  12. I think it's difficult to provide a full ensuite cabin per driver at the best of times. It would reduce the overall capacity significantly. So it's only fair (I think) that the companies pay for it. They get a berth because that's what they pay for. Sharing the bathrooms between 120 drivers is a significant exaggeration. As has been said, it's more like 35~. That's still not ideal obviously. But it's a compromise between sharing a cabin between 4 and having a full ensuite cabin to yourself. Until the companies are willing to pay for the full cabin (which of course some
  13. Is indeed industrial/labour disputes. Obviously one of the certainties of life. Also important to note that the route forcasts on marine traffic and the like are nothing more than guesses. The intended route isn't transmitted by the AIS, merely the destination. The website then makes its own assumptions on the route.
  14. The brand is now more about discovering the destinations served. I'd add a few more fancy words but frankly can't be arsed.
  15. Personally I think, although obviously for the best, this will be a shame when it happens. Although a ship that is behind the modern standards and expectations, there is something about her that I will miss. Probably just because she has been in the fleet for a long time.
  16. A few years ago those slots would depend on how many packets of cigarettes you could offer the pilot.
  17. You may have worked this out by now but anything below the deposit amount is non-refundable.
  18. A good timelapse of the work here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyfdwnALvls&feature=emb_logo

As far as I know, everything else is right. Unless Galicia makes an early appearance. I would presume the logic is that it's better to get them on sale now, and all the money that brings, than delay them for a ship change within the same class.

A lot of changes finalised in a short amount of time. So things still need to be integrated.

Afraid not. All I know, unless it's changed of course, is that she will return to Ireland, presumably from November.

    Kerry's charter can't be extended.

1 week on, 1 off. Other countries vary massively. Depends on the nationality and company but for ferries, I think 2 on 2 off is common. But can be longer for some nationalities.
