  1. Re: My Ferry Link - Updates I agree, Berlioz and Rodin when properly operated are superb ships. However don't forget that the DFDS Calais ships employ French crew, sailing on French flagged vessels. Most of the crew were ex Seafrance. If the CMA doesn't prevail then DFDS is expected to exit Calais, thus causing French jobs and French ships to go either way.

  3. Re: Brittany Ferries to operate the Norman Voyager to Le Havre & Santander I'm just curious as to what you think changes when you paint BF on the side,of a Visentini? I haven't read anything indicating a refit or any serious investment in the ship, so as far as I can see, it will still be just a Visentini.
  4. Re: The OLAU-twins for SNAV P&O used to use 2 berths. The Olau's came in at the closer berth of the two and the Super Vikings at the one adjoining the BF berth. That berth was double decked when the Supervikings were jumboised. The berth was replaced later with a much more adaptable berth where upper and lower linkspans could be moved separately (I think). This was so that the lower deck could be used with fastcraft. LD use this berth.

Public Accounts committee, tax credits are a farce requiring lots of admin (i.e. £). Note to Gordon, Spend less means tax less......
