  6. Its cabin number 8106 and IF call it Deluxe Suite Double bed.
  7. Agree with most of that cept the bed is fine. I'm over 6ft tall and spelt comfortably in it. My biggest gripe about the WB Yeats is the lack of outside deck space. The only outside space is on deck 11. And the available seating amounts wouldn't seat more than 60
  8. Forgot to mention that there are 2 tvs in the cabin 🤣
  9. Traveled on WB Yeats Dublin to Cherbourg last week. 50+ pics here at https://flic.kr/s/aHskTUKxJs Here;s a few
  10. The 223 bus now appears to run hourly from/to Ringaskiddy village https://www.buseireann.ie/timetables/223-1539871777.pdf Though depending on where people are staying a taxi as Cabin-boy pointed out would probably be a better option.
  11. Happy Christmas to one and all!

  14. Traveled Roscoff to Cork a few weeks back on Pont Aven and as I was on board early I was able to have a good look around. I think she's in good nick. Cant speak for any other cabins but the 4 berth outside one we had was very clean with little signs of wear and tear.
  15. Booking open on the website. Twice weekly sailing to Santandar continuing throughout the winter departing Cork on Mondays and Fridays at 23.30. Connemara to Roscoff recommencing on 4th March.
  16. I didn't ask about the freight only aspect so maybe that is continuing through the winter. Forgot to mention that the extra Roscoff service ex Cork on Mondays is also continuing.
  17. Was in Brittany Ferries Cork office earlier and was told that the Cork to Santandar service will resume next April. Online booking will open tomorrow.
  18. Was in Le Conquet in 2016 and couldnt believe it when I saw Cap passing by so close
  19. Spent a few days in Roscoff last week before heading home Friday night on the Pont Aven. Here's a few pics from last Friday afternoon when Pont Aven had to leave the berth to allow Amorique dock after arriving from Plymouth. More here in my BF Album https://flic.kr/s/aHsk8PJNE2
  20. FWIW i spoke to someone who does some work for BF in Cork a few weeks back and he said that he'd heard that the service would continue throughout the winter but that the Cork Roscoff service would close for the winters months.

  23. Article from last evenings Cork Evening Echo on 40 years of Cork Roscoff service. Includes a nice photo of Amorique on the first Cork Roscoff sailing in 1978. Not so sure about the Pont Aven cake though 😋 http://www.eveningecho.ie/corknews/Brittany-Ferries-marks-40-years-of-sailing-from-Cork-to-Roscoff-f7c1b691-5956-4a7e-8eb5-ffe184a6f367-ds
