Not the type of near miss one usually associates this type of incident with but as reported here it can happen. https://www.gov.uk/maib-reports/near-miss-between-ro-ro-ferry-stena-superfast-vii-and-royal-navy-submarine

mykiemike started following Pont Aven - Standard vs Club cabin

Question regarding cabins on Pont Aven. Just wondering what the difference is between these two types of cabin: Outside large 2/4 berth cabin. Outside 4 berth Club cabin. Is it just the TV and perhaps coffee & tea making facilities or is the Club larger than a standard cabin? What do you get for the extra cost?

Webcam - Portsmouth Harbour Entrance

Here is another live cam located on the Isle Of Wight. It is situated high up on the spire of All Saints Church 150 feet above of Ryde and over looks the Solent towards Portsmouth and Southampton. There is plenty to be seen on a daily basis, with cruise and container ships passing by and ferries and hovercraft making regular crossing between the Island and mainland coasts. http://iwccti.co.uk/wordpress/index.php/ryde-webcam/- 35 replies

Re: Restaurant recommendations, Saint-Malo Yes the excellent La Licorne, 6 Place Chateaubriand, 35400 Saint-Malo. Spent a good 3 hours here one afternoon last December. Great food and service.
