Fuel stations open on Sunday - Roscoff/Morlaix

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know of any fuel stations between Roscoff and Morlaix that are either:

Open on a Sunday morning to pay cash, or

Have 24hr pumps that accept UK bank cards.

Hoping to do a Plymouth-Roscoff day trip before Xmas to reacquaint myself with the Bretagne, but the only day I can get over will be Sunday, and now I've got a diesel car, it makes sense to try and fill up over there.

We've used a credit card in the automatic fuel pumps at Casino supermarket at a Roscoff and E Leclerc at St Pol de Leon without problems, but even on summer Sundays both those supermarkets were closed.

Thanks

I know the supermarkets will be closed, although there is a couple in the centre of Morlaix that are open on a Sunday morning.

I posted this on Angloinfo as well, and people there have also come back with Geant at Morlaix and Super U at St Pol, for future information.

Super U takes UK credit cards as well, instructions either came up in English or were pretty obvious, my French is not that good. Just remember Diesel is Gasoil.

Don't want to put a damper on your plans Paul but the only Ply-Rosc sailing out now is on a Friday and that is with the Bretagne.

After 18th Dec there is a couple weeks with Armorique daily except 24th, 25th, 31st and 1st Jan then from 3rd Jan NOTHING until 8th March - thank you BF.

But look on the bright side - if you can travel on Friday you've got two sailings to choose from! ;)

The 08.00 out arr 15.00 - back Sat 16.30 sits us fine. Two shopping days, a couple of meals out and a night in the Avatar house. £50 with BFE for the two of us and the car! Bargain, one of the best day trip itineraries. Sadly not for Paul.

My original post was actually from last year, but we are going over this Friday morning and returning Saturday afternoon, with an overnight stay with family in Huelgoat. £62 for three of us.

Most supermarkets have a 247 automated fuel facility, LeClerc St Pol offers an english instruction option. Be careful as these terminals dont seem to like pre paid cards such as the BF card.

Gasoil (diesel) readily available at Hyper sites down here at 99.99cts / litre. That's 70p-ish in GBP.

Don't doubt that this sort of price (or even less) is available throughout France.
