TIMETABLES: Winter & 2016 Schedule Released

Recommended Posts

They are due to be published week commencing 6th July.

That's much earlier than last year, isn't it? I remember they were out early August last time?

My prediction: You can be fairly confident I think that there will not be much change to CF's timetable this autumn. Pont Aven will probably be down to a single round trip from Portsmouth to Santander I would think, probably out on Tuesday mornings and back on Wednesdays with a St Malo rotation at the weekend allowing Bretagne to cover Roscoff at the weekends while Armorique is covering MSM. BDS not sure about, but can't see any reason why they would change her timetable. Etretat don't care about. ;). Just speculation so treat this with the contempt it probably deserves!

What is an advance registration?

I'm pretty sure it's just that they email you when the timetables are online or something.

Online booking is from tomorrow, I presume morning.

Only reason to book now is to either get it out of the way or you want a commodore cabin on the Pont Aven during the summer season. I still remember a few years ago all 18 cabins sold out in just a few days for one crossing.

I'm sensing a slight obsession about a type of cabin.
