TonyMWeaver
'Galicia' arrived at the East OPL Anchorage off Malaysia at around 00:30 this morning where she has dropped anchor close to the cruise ships that are sat idle. It's currently unknown when she will move to Changi Anchorage. I've been told by various sources that when she departs Singapore, she head straight for Suez followed by Algeciras. AIS won't update until she's back in range, unless you pay for the premium software. She should have fitted faster engines☺️
rogerpatenall
When I was, what i considered myself to be, a major shipowner, I could achieve the same result by just winding up the elastic band a bit tighter. That wake through the soap suds! What joy! What memories! And heaven help any rubber duck that got in the way. But then, that was all pre-covid, in the days of plastic submarines and baking powder.. 1
David Williams
Anyway, back to the topic, she has been in Singapore for a couple of hours, I suspect that the time was scheduled and she won’t hang around for that long.
David Williams
Looks like she is loading stores from opl 9 & the Golden Jubilee tanker is slowly moving in her direction - however it does look a little big for a bunkering vessel ! ps however Golden Jubilee does seem to be a port bunkering and water tanker http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=3160890 Edited September 22, 2020 by David Williams
David Williams
The Golden Jubilee got quite close to the Galicia and then backed off, a smaller tanker is now alongside Galicia, however the Golden Jubilee hasn't left Edited September 22, 2020 by David Williams

Gareth
Really surprised at the idea that she could do Singapore to Algericas non-stop.

David Williams
She will slow down in Sri Lanka to let the Sea Marshalls on, however she won't need to anchor for that

TonyMWeaver
Tugs now with 'Galicia', looks like she's on the move shortly. That's a shame, if she stayed for another 3 hours, I would have got photos. Edited September 22, 2020 by TonyMWeaver

TonyMWeaver
Galicia is on the move, AIS still set as Singapore Anchorage at 0300 this morning.
TonyMWeaver
Still no updated AIS for Galicia, providing there are no more port calls, I'd expect her at the Suez Canal around October 3rd.

Gareth
Galicia seems to have dropped out of AIS range about 2 hours ago. Which is slightly strange given that she is only about 10 miles off the coast of Malaysia.

Vesselfinder (the BFE link) and cruisemapper show a reading about 10 mins old. it looks like MarineTraffic has missed some,
