Happens every day on Harwich-Hook.  Stena Britannica docks in Harwich at about 4am.  Freight is unloaded but passengers sleep on and are not disembarked until after breakfast.

Yes but the PA can shake and rattle a bit docking, specially going stern in.

Here's my pics of pont aven and armourique

For all al the stick she gets, Armorique is a very handy member of the fleet for BF.

I was on the Pont Aven from Roscoff  to Plymouth yesterday morning (having also arrived on her from Cork) - there was a technical issue and also an electrical issue (stopped serving any hot breakfasts

I was on her yesterday coming across to Portsmouth and we arrived on time after passing very close to the Isle of Wight coast. We were off and out of the port within 15 of the doors opening. They were loading a lot of containers in St Malo yesterday morning. Perhaps they need to do so again today for the new year cruise to Honfleur and decided to take advantage of the opportunity early this morning seeing as she's leaving again at 9am. Ed.

PA did here Christmas trip to Antwerp leaving Portsmouth 20:00hrs 24/12 returning at 15:00 on the 27/12 she was back on the St Malo run later that evening

That's generous... I don't remember anything remotely civilised as 'passengers sleep on' or 'after breakfast'. It's more like ' shaken awake straight away' and 'off at 0530-0600 like a zombie' hunting for a Maccy D's, the closest being around Braintree.

The French sailings update site is showing the following information.

"De Roscoff à Bilbao

Les départs ci-dessous se feront désormais de BREST à 12h30, arrivée Bilbao inchangée.

Lorsque vous arrivez sur Brest vous devez suivre la direction de Brest Ports et vous rendre Avenue de Kiel où se trouve la zone d'embarquement.

07/01/19 Brest/Bilbao 12h30

14/01/19 Brest/Bilbao 12h30

21/01/19 Brest/Bilbao 12h30

28/01/19 Brest/Bilbao 12h30"

Due to the linkspan repairs at Roscoff, CF will be doing her weekly crew-change, and loading any French passengers, at Brest for the next four weeks.

Ed.
