I think it's the port again. They are suspending weekend crossings for several weeks due to engineering work.

I think it's this project to renovate the fishing-boat pontoons, gangways and dredge the access channel.

Ed.

I’m slightly surprised, given that this is nothing to do with industrial relations, that they didn’t divert the Le Havre sailings to Cherbourg.

That's an interesting diversion. Have they ever done that before? They must be assuming that, as Armorique is away at the moment, most of the passengers are heading for Brittany rather than lower Normandy. Ed.

Shouldn't make assumptions😂

Due to strike action in the port of St.Malo Monday's (4th Feb) Portsmouth/St Malo sailing has been diverted to Roscoff, arriving at 09.00

Good to see the Roscoff linkspan has been fixed. Armorique now has an opportunity to practice berthing in Roscoff following here work on the Portsmouth routes, and with the new linkspan that has been installed; ahead of the beginning of her almost daily call ins into Roscoff.

Yes it is.  Interesting in two ways - the choice of destination, and the fact that they are laying on a diversion at all (as opposed to cancelling), given that the reason is industrial action at St Malo.

Or are they taking the chance to try out the Linkspan?

That is what I expect. Link span works won't be cheap, anyone wanna give a guess of the cost?

Recent Crew Changes have either happened in Brest or using the gangway.

Armorique’s departure from Plymouth last night was delayed until the early hours this morning, with arrival in Roscoff due 1300 today.

More weather cancellations on Portsmouth-Le Havre, and delays to Cherbourg anf Bilbao.
