Wight sun

Recommended Posts

Not really a technical issue as such, 'Wight Sun' had a new part fitted this morning then went out for a quick Sea Trial. She was back in service shortly after.

Not sure why the silly timetable in operation anymore. Wight Sun fast enough to operate 0630 0830 1030 so must be their way of scaling back on sailings covertly.

'Victoria of Wight' is due to go to Falmouth soon, and the Wight Ryders are both due to have their refits.

I suppose that makes sense .otherwise it will be due in august and that will cost a mint in lost revenue

Thought as with cars a brand new vessel would get slightly longer as BF 24 month inspections. You would not just get dead on a year as vessels have gone at different times. November 2019 surely would have been acceptable for a brand new Summer 2018 vessel.

Apparently only has 3 engines ..

But turn round on her 15 minutes with not using disappearing mezz so she is crossing in 45. Cost cutting still for me.
