January Boarding Times

Recommended Posts

Booked on overnight crossing from St Malo to Portsmouth on Sat 4th Jan (Bretagne) Can anyone advise what time boarding may commence as I understand the vessel will have been in port since 9am that same day? Also - having never travelled the overnight leg from St Malo - will the Les Abhers restaurant be open for this crossing?

On the couple of occasions I've taken that crossing (on Thursdays generally) boarding was possible from around 6pm. The restaurant was definitely open but not until we had set sail. The self-service was open as soon as I got onboard. Ed.

It's always confusing as you board on French time but the restaurant opening times are UK. Ed.

Hey Ed, don't travel on the Stena's from Harwich, Britannica is on U.K. time and Hollandica is on European time regardless of direction of travel.
