French breathalyser law to be scrapped

Recommended Posts

It's being reported that the law requiring breathalysers to be carried in a car in France is to be scrapped.

I'm pretty sure I haven't seen any for sale in France over the last couple of years or so, in the early days when the requirement first came in, they were usually sold near to the tills in supermarkets and one of the french motoring magazines would give them away free with an issue of the magazine.

I think the ones I've got in the car are probably out of date anyway.
