Seasons Greetings

Recommended Posts

Quite where 2019 has gone is beyond me, but here we are just two more sleeps before Christmas Dat! It's certainly been an interesting year in the world of BF with both highs and lows, but 2020 looks set to be a cracker with the arrival of both the Honfleur and Galica to keep us all busy!

As always a massive thank you to all of our members for your support and contribution over the last year. Without you BFE wouldn't exist, and for that I am truly grateful. A huge shout out also goes to @Jim @Millsy @Gareth and @AdamW who as ever do an amazing job in keeping everything ticking over. A final thank you goes to the team at BF Towers for their continued support.

May I take this opportunity to wish you and your families a very Ferry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!

Merry Christmas everyone and best wishes to you and your families throughout 2020!

A glass raised to forum friends, old and new, to those who no longer contribute and to those we've possibly & sadly lost in 2019.

Thanks for making this another lively year on BFE.

and flying cars! :)

Are you quite mad sir... what will that do for the Plymouth pax figures?

Mind you it'd solve the steep ramp issues on Etretat😉

All The Best fella!

Plymouth has been ready for a long time Jonno... It may be deceptive that it looks entirely devoid of any facilities. It has in fact been a secret test port for Trumps' Space Force. Those electric charging points at the end of the dock, you think they are for road cars?! Where we're going, we won't need roads :D

Merry Christmas and an interesting New Year everyone. Thanks to the members who keep this such a civilised place for discussion of often tricky issues and to the celestial BFE Gods who move among us and keep us on the straight and narrow when the need occasionally arises.

As they say up there, "Here's to us, who's like us, damn few, and they're all dead". Though normally the spelling and pronunciation take a Scots tang.

All the very best to all. Let us hope that love wins over hate, that compassion beats cruelty and that we continue to help  every citizen of our planet enjoy a healthy and reassuring future.

Ah...is that what the thick white line is for, to hide where the carpark opens up and the lift off platform ascends?

Have you thought of changing you're BF name to Mr Fusion?

This is just begging for someone to do a mockup with Photoshop and a spare half hour.
Khaines - a flying Barfleur?!

It will make a good quiz question in years to come!  What were the circumstances in which Barfleur spent the Christmas layup 2019 in Santander?!  🤣

Best wishes to all from the Gard.

Well, it would be the Gard if we hadn’t made the trip up to the Thames Valley via St Malo.  Trip report on that to follow at some stage.

Andy are you sure you have Normandie and MSM the right way round?

Mont St Michel is going to Le Havre, arriving at around 17:30, Normandie is also going to Le Havre but leaving again today at 14:30

Thanks Tony.  Why is Normandie doing that?!  (She doesn’t need berthing trials there, which is the only reason I can think would warrant a visit of a couple of hours).
