I imagine that they will have to redo most of their safety drills as it has been a while & will they all need pilots for a while ?

Shouldn't require pilots, not unless they are renewing their PEC's.

PECs may have expired/invalidated in the three months. I can't remember what the number is but they need to visit the port every X months to keep it valid.

"In the 3 months preceding the renewal they must have completed at least 6 acts of pilotage minimum. (To expand upon the definition of “continue to be a regular user throughout the year”, this is kept under review and is currently set at a minimum of 12 acts, in the first 9 months from the renewal date, plus the additional 6 acts, i.e. a minimum of 18 acts in total. An act of pilotage is from outside of the district to the berth or vice versa)."

As above, Pont-Aven is due alongside in Portsmouth on Monday at 18:15 and I've heard since that she is due to depart at 17:45 on Tuesday.

Mont St Michel is at sea heading for Portsmouth.

Just on her normal Saturday 0830 sailing from Caen.  She’s been sailing her usual schedule throughout the close-down as one of the ships providing freight links.  Nothing news-worthy.

There appears to be a departure and destination change for 'Pont-Aven' from Le Havre, departure now scheduled for 13:00 on Monday, destination Roscoff.

So where are we today - 29 June is the date of resumption of passenger services.

Is Armorique re-entering service this afternoon from Roscoff?

Is MSM already carrying passengers on this morning’s 0830 from Caen, or will she be re-opening to passengers this afternoon at Portsmouth?

And is Connemara still sailing freight-only, or have her sailings now also opened to passengers?

PA returns to service tomorrow, with the 1715 departure from Portsmouth to Santander.

Armorique operating from Roscoff this afternoon...

MSM taking passengers as of this morning ( but without Mrs FW!)

I’ve spied a provisional copy of Connemara’s schedule and she enters passenger service from the 8th July to Cherbourg, maybe the beginning of the week to Le Havre..

Note the bare feet on carpet and 'dirty' mask on window sill.

I hope that the large team of cleaners is ready in Portsmouth !

I think she's taking BF's 'enhanced flexibility' scheme too seriously. Ed.

What's wrong with bare feet on the carpet? Most people don't go round licking carpets!

Good stuff Chris! My dad's wine cellar is distinctly lacking at the moment. He's really looking forward to coming over :)

Fair comment, however most of the comments were aimed at the new BF procedures, I note that he followed up with the enclosed which is a bit worrying,

Once someone decides to put their thoughts and pictures into the public demain, Twitter being a prize example, then they are fair game for humerous/cheeky comments. No offence is meant, just good old fashioned humour

Nice to see Pont Aven back in Portsmouth again on the warrior webcam. A positive sight for once, even with those funnels!
