Andy
Just had to share this awesome retro graphic of the Bretagne, akin to those of the great ocean liners! 10
colin
Much emulated, never surpassed. (actually a vintage slogan for the Hornet dinghy class)
neilcvx
It’s a lovely poster of her shows of her nice features to a tea , there’s some other good ones in the set too. https://www.libertad.fr/index.html
Seashore
Very nice and they had the good sense to put her forward superstructure.

cvabishop
They bought the Val. Bretagne is the original. There won't be another.
5_ShortBlasts
Very good, but the crucial thing that is missing is the huge stern wave that her short hull produces, they have the waterline about right for going at a few knots! hhvferry
Nice artistic choice that they chose to keep the superstructure stripes rather than the current mess which would be consistent with the logo she's wearing.

At least Covid has likely kept her from becoming the Moby Spongebob-Squarepants for a few more years 1
Hermit
She needs to turn hard to starboard, or she will miss the channel.
Ryan_H
Very nice, is it available to buy?

The studio have replied to an enquiry from my brother, explaining that they put the images online simply for general interest. They are now looking into how they might make them available for sale in future. If anything comes of it I'll post the information here. 5
Cabin-boy
If they could do one of Barfleur, in a sort of circular shape (dart-board sized would be perfect), I'll be first in the queue.😉 Ed.
Ryan_H
It would make a nice partner for this one in my lounge, although I am running out of wall space; might need a bigger house

The ship that served Thorshavn for DFDS was Winston Churchill, which was a younger near sister of England. The ship in the poster looks like a previous era to those two, but with a bit of artistic license it might be England?

The ship is the Kronprins Frederik, which, according to 'Fakta om Fartyg', did spend some her career sailing to Torshavn from Esbjerg.

She also had a spectacular and ultimately fatal habit of spontaneously combusting.
