Rosslare-Bilbao Query

Recommended Posts

I am trying to book a crossing from Rosslare to Bilbao for 3 adults, 4 cats and 1 Van, anytime after 20th July,  however on line booking will only allow one cat and requests I phone, however due to current covit19 situation there is only an automated phone. Could anyone please advise as I need to return to Spain.

(all cats have valid passports)

Thank you. Angels

You can only book 1 pet in a pet-friendly cabin online. Make the booking online with just one cat, and then send an email regarding the additional cats. They will then add it to your booking and arrange for the additional payment.

On vessels with pet friendly cabins it is usually just one pet per cabin , cats can normally stay in your vehicle for a crossing but the longer sailing time to Spain may effect that so you need to contact Brittany Ferries to confirm that . On the Point Aven there are dog kennels and cats stay in there vehicles on the car deck .

Not possible for pets to stay in the car on Kerry, Connemara, Etretat or Cap Finistere as the temperature in the garage can't be controlled as easily. Multiple pets are normally allowed in the cabin subject to the size. Four Saint Bernards would be a problem, four cats however should be fine.

Try contacting via Twitter, using the Direct Message function for security,  if quoting any personal information. They do appear to answer these. Phone lines aren't functioning as most of BF staff are still working from home.

Your cats will of course be required to wear the appropriate PPE whilst moving from your vehicle to the cabin.
