No tests needed for Condor HSC ferries.

Border restrictions to Guernsey are not been removed just yet. We will soon be going to stage 3 (22 March) where the internal market on island is fully open with no social distancing restrictions. The first time this has happened since lockdown on 22 January. More will be known on the roadmap for opening Guernsey's borders in today's States (Gsy Gov) covid briefing.

Plus conventional ferries still require testing to protect crew onboard on what are essential lifeline freight routes.

Tickets (including for day-trips from France) are bookable to Jersey from around 20 May. As yet there is no indication that Jersey is going to relax its restrictions as everywhere is still classed as a red zone.

From Guernsey's covid briefing today it looks like 1 July is planned possible date for re-opening of Guernsey's border without need to quarantine (with test at border). Full story at www.guernseypress.com.

Presumably, if BF decided to run a joint service with Condor to save money, then tests would be needed even if your destination wasn't France, if France was one of the stops on the schedule?!

Not if you didn't get off or didn't actually go through immigration.
