S/S Bohuslän

Recommended Posts

A small steamship for a change to all the ferries and cruiseships.

S/S Bohuslän, build in 1914 for a coastal route from Göteborg. Bohuslän is the name of the landscape

around Göteborg. The page is also in english.

Re:S/S Bohuslän

Have you tried any of those ? I been on some small steamship in the Stockholm archipelago years ago. The type of ship is nothing so interesting for me, but I still found it fascinating, that thing was about 100 years old, and they kept the steamengine still going and every now and then they let the interested (and not too much about their cloths worried passengers) see it working.

Re:S/S Bohuslän

Hello Cornelia!

I haven't tried one of these steamers.

I have tried the german Alexandra as a child.

Both Bohuslän and Alexandra was in Vejle two

years ago to the steamfestival. I hope to see

them this year in july.

I was there friday evening and the public cruises

was saturday and sunday.

I am interested in small vessels too, with or

without steam. There is a page in near future

about the boats on Flensburger Förde, and I

look foreward to it.

Viele Grüsse

Jens
